Presenting hearty, muscular proportions throughout its rather compact form, this Brandy from Claudio Cavicchi offers plenty of palm-comforting substance. The tall, tapered, and gently contoured bowl displays a bit of lift to the rounded heel and is poised at the end of an equally stout shank and saddle stem. Compressed, chubby, charming, and housing a generous chamber within thick walls, it's dressed in one of the Italian carver's auburn contrast stains, and, as usual with his work, showcases astonishing grain. Wispy, tight-knit tendrils of flame grain reaches to the rim from the heel, which is engulfed in gorgeous whorls of birdseye.
