A tall, rather organic interpretation of the bent Egg, this piece from Claudio Cavicchi features a forward-urging bowl with an elongated transition that's then followed by a more slender, upwardly curling shank and stem. A fluid, sinuous pipe, this three "C"-graded piece is further commended by a fetching spalted beechwood accent at the shank end, again perpetuating that organic aesthetic, while the stummel wears a smooth honey-blonde stain that showcases a plethora of fine flame grain on all flanks.
