Claudio Cavicchi: Black Sandblasted Canadian Tobacco Pipe

Though it's not the first shape I think of when I think of Cavicchi, Claudio does produce a fair number of Canadians, and as with every other shape, he produces them masterfully. This one is a quite large rendition, both stretching past six-and-a-half inches and reaching a height over two at the bowl, though the shape as a whole has been kept classically trim, as far as relative breadth goes. The stummel is wearing the Italian carver's Black sandblast, tinged with ruby hues, which showcases beautiful, pronounced ring grain on this Sitter.
