Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Poker (CCC) Tobacco Pipe

This Poker from Claudio Cavicchi is tall and very gently canted, the flat heel angled almost imperceptibly. Out back, the Italian carver has lent this rather uncommon shape from his portfolio a bit of playfulness. The shank below the transition displays a spur and flares toward its end, meeting a similar-hued accent along the base of the jet-black, acrylic stem. Bearing three "C" stamps our of five, denoting the briar's high quality and stellar grain, this piece is wearing the artisan's smooth, honey-blonde stain, highlighting the handsome grain patterns seen across the entire stummel.
