Striking a fine balance between plump proportions and sleek angularity, this Horn by Claudio Cavicchi is a fine example of the Italian artisan's inventive approach to shaping. The forward-urging bowl displays an undulating rim atop curvaceous walls, and a sleek yet curvy heel. A muscular round shank brings up the rear, creating a tight arc from the bowl to the downturned acrylic stem that meets a thin hardwood accent at the conjunction. Dressed in Cavicchi's signature honey-blonde stain, the stummel boasts excellent straight and flame grain around the bowl, with plenty of swirling birdseye at the rim and heel.
