Claudio Cavicchi: Brown Smooth Bent Billiard Tobacco Pipe

A fairly traditional take on the bent Billiard from Claudio Cavicchi, this piece nonetheless offers some additional muscularity to the robust bowl. It's topped by a gracefully arcing shank-and-stem combination, the latter downturned to promote a comfortable smoking posture. This sinuous stretch of shank and stem lends the outline of the pipe a fluid undercurve, creating a soft outline that not only keeps the eye held, but that begs to be held in the hand. This piece comes dressed in one of Cavicchi's deep, chestnut-hued stains, revealing a lovely array of flame grain through the flanks, while the rim and underside showcase some dense birdseye.
