Claudio Cavicchi: Brown Smooth Bent Billiard with Spalted Beechwood Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-400-3093

Though we've seen a number of similar bent Billiards in Claudio Cavicchi's profile, this particular style is something of a rarity for him, eschewing the more geometric style of shank for a sleek, slightly tapering length of briar capped with a fitment of spalted beechwood. This accent meets a smartly curved length of black acrylic stem, its posture promising comfortable smoking while also working to balance the presence of the bowl. The overall silhouette here is rather Danish, though with the telltale proportions of Italian neoclassicism possessing its entirety, the Egg-like bowl rising to over two inches tall. Said bowl sits upon a sweeping heel and flares out gently at a slightly mid-set waistline before tapering to the rim, its walls offering a lovely canvas for the warm chestnut stain dressing the stummel, revealing a wealth of flame grain striations beneath.
