One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Tomato showcases Cavicchi's skilled craftsmanship, as the spherical bowl of the Tomato is considered quite challenging to shape, but Cavicchi executes it perfectly with this symmetrical, plump bowl. The shank transitions out of the bowl's rotund waistline, which tapers to an acrylic tapered stem. Said stem features a jet-black coat, which, along with the sandblasted stummel, contributes to a cool-shaded color palette.
