A bold, Italian neoclassical rendition of the bent Apple, this piece from Claudio Cavicchi features a broad bowl with the expansive flanks and domed rim of a Tomato. Said bowl, with its stocky build and gentle curves, holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the slender shank-and-stem arrangement that reaches out back.
