Claudio Cavicchi: Black Sandblasted Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Dublin by Cavicchi provides an ample canvas to showcase his Black sanblast, which dresses everything from the broad rim to the trim shank, with the exception of the nomenclature and a miniscule briar band encircling the shank face, which feature a smooth finish. The fore of the pipe curves dramatically from the rim, through the heel, and finishes perpendicular to its start at the shank, which is ever-so-slightly bent, making this bent Dublin about as close to a straight as one can shape.
