One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Tomato from Claudio Cavicchi bears similarities to the Prince shape; the sleek shank-and-stem arrangement and the low-slung bowl evoke the Prince shape's iconic profile, but the bowl here is more plump and robust than a traditional Prince. Said bowl features a pronounced heel and is dressed in Cavicchi's craggy Black sandblast, giving the pipe a stimulating texture for the fingers to explore as one enjoys the capacious chamber.
