One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. Dressed in a chestnut smooth finish and featuring a jet-black acrylic stem, this bent Billiard from Claudio Cavicchi manifests a traditional appearance. Moreover, the bowl exudes Italian style with its robust, low-set waistline, and pronounced heel. However, instead of embracing the near-cylindrical bowls of most Italian Billiards, the bowl features a significant taper to the rim, giving the pipe a marked curvaceousness that is paralleled by the bent shank-and-stem arrangement.
