Claudio Cavicchi presents a hearty, lengthy Dublin with this rendition, the bowl flaring toward the rim, with a firm, Italian-styled heel and a slight forward cant asserting prominence as well. The long, round shank and abbreviated saddle stem resemble the layout of a Lovat and exude that iconic shape's sleek refinement, while ensuring the pipe's visual weight remains on the robust bowl. Finished in a warm mahogany-walnut stain, the aesthetic of this piece is very much classic, and the dressing reveals streaks of flame grain wrapping around the bowl. The rim's surface showcases an impressive array of peppered birdseye throughout, capping off a wonderful work by Cavicchi.
