One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Brandy by Claudio Cavicchi is supremely muscular, evidenced by the bowl's robust, low-set waistline and the triangular shank that flares from the transition to an olivewood accent. As is the norm for Cavicchi, the grain here is absolutely stunning: large whorls of birdseye abound on the pipe's underside, wiry tendrils of vertical grain rise to the rim, and rippling growth rings surround the bowl, all dressed in a warm auburn smooth finish.
