One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Apple by Cavicchi has a forward-urging bowl that displays thick tendrils of vertical grain and cascading waves of growth rings, highlighted in a blonde smooth finish. The bent shank meets the acrylic tapered stem at a creative tenon-and-mortise arrangement; the shank's diameter is greater than that of the stem, and its hollowed face allows for the stem's base to snugly nestle into it.
