Claudio Cavicchi: Black Sandblasted Bent Brandy Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-400-3222

Claudio Cavicchi has earned a reputation since the 1970s as a master of pipe carving and one of the chief artisans working in the Italian neoclassic style. This bent Brandy is a more traditional piece for Cavicchi, displaying a more Danish-style silhouette with the bowl's broad heel and subtly tapered walls. Said bowl rests with a slight forward cant at the fore of a slim round shank which joins a lithe saddle stem of black acrylic, allowing the bowl to occupy most of the space in this composition. Dressed in a crisp, black sandblast, the stummel offers plenty of engaging texture around the bowl, elegantly contrasted by a smooth, light rim.
