This Freehand by Claudio Cavicchi is a somehwat Acorn-like piece, featuring a curvaceous bowl capped with a broad rim that swoops back down the bowl, culminating in a pointed heel. A slim round shank brings up the rear, joined to a sleek bent saddle stem of black acrylic, providing an effortless clench. Dressed in a rich mahogany, the stummel boasts excellent straight and flame grain around the bowl, with swirling birdseye at the rim and heel.
