Claudio Cavicchi has earned a reputation since the 1970s as a master of pipe carving and one of the chief artisans working in the Italian neoclassic style. This "CCCC" grade Dublin is a fine example of such style, also displaying the particularly excellent briar Cavicchi is known for. Presenting a sweeping, bowl-forward silhouette, this piece is a dynamic interpretation of the archetypal Dublin, placing a bold, flared bowl atop a softened heel at the fore of a robust round shank and comfortable saddle stem of black acrylic. Dressed in Cavicchi's signature honey-blonde finish, the stummel boasts impressive flame grain all around the bowl.
