One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Dublin by Claudio Cavicchi is a robust rendition of the shape. It features a bowl that flares significantly at the fore an aft, resulting in a broad, elliptical rim, which showcases a stunning swath of rugged plateau. The hearty bowl is balanced by the smooth taper of the shank-and-stem arrangement, which begins at a broad transition and ends at a trim bit. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in Cavicchi's signature blonde smooth finish, which highlights stunning flame grain and visible growth rings on the bowl — a pattern worthy of Cavicchi's "CCCCC" grade.
