One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Billiard by Claudio Cavicchi is an excellent illustration of the Italian neoclassic style. The composition is bowl-forward, the stout, cylindrical walls providing substantial insulation from the capacious chamber and showcasing a handsome array of grain. Out back, the thick shank is fitted with two trim accent bands, their cool hues offering a distinguished complement to the vibrant honey-blonde smooth finish. Furthermore, the shank face is subtly exposed, accentuating the junction between the hearty stummel and sleek acrylic tapered stem.
