One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Apple by Claudio Cavicchi features a shapely bowl with a pronounced heel and an asymmetric rim that showcases subtle undulations. Out back, the tight transition is defined by a sharp spur that juts downward, breaking up the profile and giving the silhouette an intriguing, disjointed look. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in an auburn smooth finish, highlighting wisps of straight grain and wavy growth rings on the bowl, while the underside showcases a tightly-packed core of birdseye.
