One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Acorn by Claudio Cavicchi features a tall, upright bowl whose walls subtly flare to a high-set waistline, marked by a singular beadline, before gently arcing inward to the trim rim. Out back, the low-slung transition flows into a sleek shank-and-stem arrangement that presents an understated S-curve in profile. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a honey-hued stain, highlighting wispy vertical grain and undulating growth rings on the supple bowl.
