One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns in either a smooth or sandblasted finish. This bent Dublin by Cavicchi is a rather squat interpretation of the classic form, possessing a Pot-like bowl and a barely bent shank-and-stem arrangement. Said bowl is thick and muscular, its flared walls filling out the hand and offering ample space to showcase Cavicchi's honey-blonde smooth finish. The finish highlights a wealth of attractive grain across the bowl and shank alike, earning this piece three "C" stamps out of a possible five.
