One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Freehand by Claudio Cavicchi possesses a classic, Billiard-style bowl, which presents a subtle taper between its supple heel and trim rim. Furthermore, the curvaceous underside of the bowl is accentuated by the mid-set, cinched transition, which merges into a shank that smoothly flares to a broad, domed face. A sleek saddle stem fashioned from acrylic rounds out the form, and its understated, black hues handsomely complement the bright blonde stain on the stummel.
