One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Dublin by Claudio Cavicchi possesses a pert bowl, its walls flaring from a sweeping heel to a broad, inflated rim, which hints at the muscular Bulldog shape. Out back, the short shank keeps compositional focus centered on the bowl, while the spalted beechwood accent adds a splash of organic color to the composition. Furthermore, the jet-black saddle stem features two ornate expansion rings on its base, subtly breaking up the profile which increases the dynamism of the form.
