Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Dublin with Spalted Beechwood (CCC) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-400-3413

One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This bent Dublin by Claudio Cavicchi possesses a pert bowl, its walls flaring from a sweeping heel to a broad, inflated rim, which hints at the muscular Bulldog shape. Out back, the short shank keeps compositional focus centered on the bowl, while the spalted beechwood accent adds a splash of organic color to the composition. Furthermore, the jet-black saddle stem features two ornate expansion rings on its base, subtly breaking up the profile which increases the dynamism of the form. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in one of Cavicchi's handsome smooth finishes, highlighting handsome grain throughout.
