One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns, whether it be in one of his smooth or sandblasted finishes. This CCC-graded bent Dublin boasts an Italian neoclassical outline, offering a sturdy, full-bodied bowl that overshadows a comparatively lean shank-and-stem arrangement. Said bowl is tall and muscular, its thick, insulating walls flaring from firm heel to plateau-crowned rim and concealing a chamber of considerable depth. This capacious chamber ensures plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions, which the barely bent saddle stem is poised to aid. Dressing this piece is a Cavicchi's honey-blonde smooth finish, which highlights fine flame grain across the bowl's flanks.
