One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns in either his signature smooth or sandblasted finishes. A handsome showcase of Cavicchi's style, this CCC-graded bent Billiard boasts a tall, supple bowl whose walls arc in a subtle upward flare to the rounded rim. Said bowl stands at the fore of an upturned shank and a demurely curved tapered stem, the latter of which lends a touch of gesture to the shape's profile. Cavicchi's honey-hued smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights handsome flame grain along the bowl's flanks, while an accent of spalted beechwood adorns the junction and complements the briar's complexion.
