Claudio Cavicchi: Brown Smooth Bent Pot with Spalted Beechwood Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-400-3473

Claudio Cavicchi's career in pipe making is characterized by his penchant for perfection. One day, after months of waiting for a pipe he ordered, Cavicchi decided to take a shot at making the pipe himself, resulting in a piece that was exactly what he wanted. He took up pipe-making full-time after retiring from his farming career, and he would go on to gain a reputation for his precise eye for detail. This bent Pot from Cavicchi boasts a stocky, palm-filling bowl, its thick, insulating walls rising from the subtly upturned heel toward the broad rim. A compact, upturned shank transitions from the bowl and flares to a stylish beechwood accent at the shank end, where it pairs to a smartly bent saddle stem. Dressing the stummel is Cavicchi's smooth Brown finish, complete with a rich stain that highlights striking vertical grain around the bowl and whorls of birdseye circling the rim and underside.
