A particularly stout interpretation of the shape, this straight Rhodesian boasts an impressive amount of substance within a compact form factor. A squat, rotund bowl sits upfront, formed by thick walls flaring broadly toward a pair of crisp beadlines around the waist, where they then show a dramatic taper to the rim. Out back, a round, hearty shank emerges from a tight-knit transition and joins to a sleek saddle stem of jet-black acrylic. Graded four C's out of five, this piece displays a wealth of birdseye across the top of the stummel, in addition to fine licks of flame grain around the base of the bowl, all of which is presented beneath a light, honey-blonde stain.
