Known for his skill in producing pipes with incredible grain, Caludio Cavicchi has been crafting incredibly functional and beautiful pieces for over 50 years. This bent Dublin from Cavicchi is a great option for those seeking long, leisurely smoking sessions, due to its jaw-hanging posture and deep tobacco chamber. The bowl up front rises from a full-bodied heel as its walls flare to a plateau-crowned rim that looks into the aforementioned chamber. A tight transition gives way to a rounded shank that rises to meet the a jet-black acrylic stem, one that matches the thin, inky accent band wrapping the midsection of the shank. The stummel is dressed in one of the artisan's earthy brown sandblasts, unveiling stunning ring grain throughout, save for the smooth shank base.
