Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Dublin with Spalted Beechwood (CCCCC) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-400-3605
Known for his skill in producing pipes with impeccable grain, Caludio Cavicchi has been crafting incredibly functional and beautiful pieces for over 50 years. Displaying a dramatic flare from a firm heel upwards to a plateau-crowned, sloping rim, the robust bowl of this Cavicchi bent Dublin takes on a rather playful disposition. The abbreviated shank is separated from the fishtail acrylic stem by a handsome band of spalted beechwood, the pale hues with its inky grain patterns contrasting the jet-black mouthpiece. The stummel is dressed in one of the artisan's iconic honey-hued, smooth finishes, highlighting stunning flame grain around the bowl's flanks, earning this pipe five out of five "C"'s, only superseded by the super-rare "Perla" and nigh-unobtainable "Diamante." - Jessica Landefeld
