Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Dublin (CCCC) Tobacco Pipe

Known for his skill in producing pipes with impeccable grain, Caludio Cavicchi has been crafting incredibly functional and beautiful pieces for over 50 years. A more compact offering than we normally see from Cavicchi, this bent Dublin is a softer version of the shape-chart standard. Up front, the Bell-shaped bowl cants forward as its walls rise from a firm heel to a subtly domed rim. The aft remains more traditionally inclined, pairing a trim, rounded shank to a petite saddle stem out back. The stummel is dressed in Cavicchi trademark honey-hued smooth finish, save for the rim which is stained red to accentuate lovely patches of birdseye, while the remaining bowl is wrapped in flick of flame grain, earning this piece four out of five "C's from Cavicchi.
