Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Billiard (CCC) Tobacco Pipe

Known for his skill in producing pipes with incredible grain, Caludio Cavicchi has been crafting incredibly functional and beautiful pieces for over 50 years. A muscular and structured interpretation of the classic silhouette, this bent Billiard from Cavicchi is sweeping from button to bowl. Up front, the insulated walls of the sizable bowl rise from a full-bodied heel toward a flat rim that peers into a capacious tobacco chamber. The transition gives way to paneling around the shank, extending through the shoulders of an acrylic saddle stem that gracefully bends to the bit. Well deserving of its "CCC" grade, this bent Billiard is dressed in one of Cavicchi's honey-hued smooth finishes, highlighting flame grain around the bowl and dense patches of birdseye on the rim and underside.
