Chris Asteriou: Smooth Billiard Tobacco Pipe

Most of the smooth Billiards we've received from Chris Asteriou are adorned with brass or silver accents. In this rendition, though, the Greek artisan has gone for a straightforward, classic and minimalist approach. The tall bowl presents Danish influences that are seen in its plump, curvaceous base and easy taper to the rim, which is softly chamfered. Out back, a streamlined stretch of gradually tapering shank and stem offers a proportional, pleasant balance in this traditionally designed, poised pipe. It's dressed in a smooth, honey stain that does well to highlight dense tendrils of flame grain on all flanks, with whorls of birdseye saturating the underside. Further commending this handsome, refined pipe is its striking crimson and black brindled vulcanite mouthpiece, further demonstrating its classic appeal.
