Chris Asteriou: Sandblasted Pot with Horn Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-540-0227
Chris Asteriou began his career in the pipe industry modeling his designs off Anglo-French standards before eventually leaning to the Danish and Japanese schools of design. Coming from a background in industrial design and architecture, Asteriou is known to combine function with flair, creating beautiful designs like this Pot. With its squat bowl housing a tobacco chamber barely over an inch deep, this is a great option for short smokes, and its compact size makes it ideal for travel as well. Said bowl is paired to an abbreviated shank out back that quickly connects to a flaring mount cut from horn, its hue so dark that the lines and patterns of the accent are hardly visible to the naked eye. A petite, stylized stem protrudes from said mount, completing the silhouette of the pipe and complementing the rich stain along the sandblasted stummel, highlighting textured growth rings around the bowl's flanks.
