Old German Clay: Markus Fohr Cutty Black Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-557-0012
A Cutty in black, which is a great option for pirates, highwaymen, and regular pipesmokers who prefer darker tones. Classically shaped and molded by hand by Markus Fohr of Old German Clay Pipes, this piece is made from clay prized for the purpose from the Westerwald region of Germany. Clays are known for their neutral smoking qualities; Mike and Mary McNiel of McClelland tobacco always used clay pipes to sample leaf because of that neutral quality. If you've been wondering what your tobacco really tastes like, without flavor tones of briar entering the mix, consider having at least one clay pipe in your collection.
Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
