Old German Clay: Markus Fohr Studded Bowl Black
Product Number: 002-557-0016
Crafted by Markus Fohr in Montabaur, Germany, this piece continues Fohr's rich family tradition of hand-pressing pipes from clay. Presented here is a trim, compact pipe fashioned from fumed clay and is noticeably shorter compared to the tavern pipes of yesteryear. The studded bowl adds a subtle, detailed touch and gives the material some additional texture. Aside from its old-school appeal, clay pipes are known for their flavor-neutral smoking capabilities and heat resistant properties.
Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
The pipe you see is the pipe you receive. Click here to see our photography process.
