Old German Clay: Markus Fohr Offering Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-557-0026

Markus Fohr of Old German Pipes continues his family tradition of hand-pressing pipes from clay, catering to an aesthetic that pre-dates briar pipes. This particular design riffs off of the classic Dragon's Claw motif commonly seen on meerschaum pipes, trading the claw for a human hand that cradles the bowl. This is a great pipe for experiencing accurate tobacco flavor while also reliving the smoking experiences of generations ago, while remaining quite compact in terms of length.

Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
