Old German Clay: Markus Fohr Crimped Panel Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-557-0033
Crafted by Markus Fohr of Old German Clay Pipes, this piece is part of Fohr's family tradition of hand-pressing pipes from clay and hearkens back to a time when they could commonly be seen in taverns around the world. A paneled Cutty is presented here, displaying the form's signature heel spur. This design is the one that most often comes to mind when one thinks of clay pipes, though this example is noticeably more compact compared to vintage pieces and benefits from rigid facets on all sides. Aside from their classic aesthetic, clay pipes offer a neutral flavor profile — perfect for testing out new blends or revisiting tried and true favorites.
Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
