David Huber: Sandblasted Razor Egg (0520) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-755-0050

David Huber has a penchant for pinched shanks — shanks that are compressed at the flanks — presenting a cats eye-like cross section. We've seen the convention in his Copper Head and Flounder shapes and, most prevalently in his Razor Egg renditions. Essentially the design pairs a traditional Egg bowl with one of these "razor sharp" shanks, contrasting the bowl's rounded curves against the cutting, aerodynamic stance of the shank. This piece does well to embody that aesthetic — the Egg bowl urging forward while the shank curls slightly upward in profile. It's also quite the compact pipe, suitable for on-the-go smoking and marked by a rugged sandblast and lightweight appeal.
