Good things come in small packages, and the Devil Anse is one such small package that has become wildly popular in pipe making. Adored by smokers and collectors for its compact size and lightweight appeal, the Devil Anse is essentially a short Belge shape, marked by a rounded bowl canted forward. Heinemann's rendition here features a more squat bowl than is typically seen, and such a broader design does well to maximize the briar's natural growth rings along the flanks.
