Dirk Heinemann: Sandblasted Bent Billiard Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-793-0101

A woodworker and furniture designer with a passion for pipes, it was only natural that Dirk Heinemann eventually began crafting his own pieces. The German artisan is known to combine function with flair, often designing pipes that are as beautiful as they are practical. This bent Billiard is a more conservative offering from Heinemann, displaying a tapered bowl common in the Danish school of design. The pipe's overall profile is compact, measuring under five inches in length, while still housing a respectable tobacco chamber within the bowl. Sweeping from button to bowl, the demurely curved shank-and-stem help draw the attention to the supple fore, where the stummel's sandblast displays rippling growth rings around the bowl and the smooth rim highlights impressive grain.
