Il Duca: Partially Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Bamboo (B) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-427-0630
Massimiliano Rimensi is an accomplished artisan based in Ferrara, Italy who combines Italian and Danish style cues to create a unique aesthetic all his own. He produces pipes under the Il Duca name in honor of his native Ferrara's history under the dukes of House D'Este. This bent Dublin is a fine example of that work, featuring an exaggerated flared rim and sleek heel paired to a svelte shank rendered in dark bamboo. The ensemble is complete by a tapered vulcanite stem that displays a slight bend that, combined with this pipe's weight distribution, makes this a comfortable pipe for clenching. Dressed in a crisp partial sandblast, the Barone-grade stummel offers plentiful texture that contrasts handsomely with the smooth rim. The rim is stained a light blonde hue, boasting fine birdseye and a section of rugged plateau.
