Il Duca: Smooth Bent Stack with Bamboo (D) Tobacco Pipe

Max Rimensi, the carver behind Il Duca pipes, is a true student of pipe making, and as such, he takes inspiration from a wide range of design schools. Design cues from Danish, Italian, and Anglo-French pipe makers can be found in Rimensi's work, but that's not to say Rimseni is unoriginal. Rimsensi takes his various influences and elevates them through his personal creative vision, resulting in truly original work that dazzles with sophistication and elegance.

A striking example of Rimensi's craftsmanship, this gorgeous Stack boasts a towering bowl that stands at the fore of an upturned shank and a sinuously bent tapered stem. The bowl houses a capacious chamber within its tall, slender frame, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions, which the curvaceous shank-and-stem arrangement will naturally aid. The shank is extend by three knuckles of bamboo, which add a touch of organic flair to the composition's aft side. A warm smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights stunning birdseye across the bowl's flanks.
