Dunhill: Bruyere (5226) (2012)
Product Number: 002-015-2189
The Oom Paul, or Hungarian, pipe is named after the South African general of the Boer War, Paulus Kruger. Always fully bent, the Hungarian "hangs" quite well as it follows the curve of your face. This particular piece is rendered in a substantial Group "5" size, but the "jaw presence" is quite unobtrusive. Dressed in an extra-deep, walnut Bruyere stain, and boasting a dark and dramatic cross-grain pattern, this pipe will help you punctuate the tales of your heroic adventures during the Boer War. This pipe might even be impressive enough that they will not take into account that you would have to be well over one hundred and twenty years old to be telling the tale!
