Dunhill: Chestnut with Horn Army Mount (4102) (2014)

Product Number: 002-015-2300

Horn trim on a Dunhill is a surprisingly rare find; until we recently snagged a whole batch of them we were lucky to see but two or three in a year. (Dunhill typically makes their whole annual production of horn-accented pipes in one go, then lets us retailers fight over them at a trade show.) This one is a handsome bent Billiard as smooth in gesture as it is polished of finish, with a dark, reserved walnut stain for the briar, smokey black-and-beige horn for the mount, and a lovely, slender length of cumberland for the stem.
