Dunhill's Christmas pipes are quite the collectible pieces, with their The Twelve Days of Christmas set spanning twelve full years, and a full collection. The Nutcracker and the Mouse King is set to be the second of these long-running sets, with this 2017 edition being the seventh in the series. Presented in a book-style case, it features a custom tamper styled after its namesake shepherd children.
As for the pipe, it's one of the more unusual pieces from Dunhill — a sleek bent Billiard with a hint of spur to its heel, giving it an almost Danish Acorn style of profile. It's been finished in the dark sandblast of the Shell Briar, and accented with a band of sterling silver for a hint of flash. This piece is numbered 134 out of only 250 made.
