Dunhill: Chestnut (4206) (2015)
Product Number: 002-015-4557
Refined and streamlined, this "06" straight Pot from Dunhill is rendered in Group 4 size, with its robust bowl and respectably roomy chamber enhanced by thick, insulating walls. Paired to an arrow straight shank and saddle stem, this pipe is able to sit sturdily upright, thanks to its flattened heel and is handsomely dressed in the English marque's Chestnut finish.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.-Angela Robertson
