Dunhill: County Quaint Bent Billiard (3) (2019) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-4752
This bent Billiard departs slightly from Dunhill's standard "02," which is why it's found in the English marque's Quaint line — a series reserved for more stylized, non-standard renditions. The bowl is tall and slender, of Group 3 size, and the angle of the transition is more gentle than that of the "02," leading to a demure downturn at the stem. Such a profile calls to mind the elegant curve of the classic Prince, but it's here fitted with a taller Billiard bowl for added chamber capacity.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
