Dunhill: County Quaint Bent Billiard Sitter (5) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-4758
This bent Billiard wears a darker iteration of the County finish, hewing closely to that of the Cumberland, and is presented as a Quaint — a line devoted to unique designs that don't fit squarely within the English marque's conventional shape chart. A slightly elongated stem sets this Group 5 piece apart from its other bent Billiard brethren, and most unique is the flattened panel at the lower fore of the bowl, enabling the pipe to sit upright. It's the perfect blend of leisurely, demi-Churchwarden length and a sturdy-sitting desk pipe.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
